I’ve finally gotten around to watching Hip Hop Evoluion. I’ve watched three episodes and so far, and I’m pretty disappointed with the amount of erasure regarding Latino (esp. Puerto Rican) contributions to early hip hop. If you knew nothing about hip hop history before watching the series, you’d think white people were more involved than Latinos were.
I’m not sure that I’ll be able to finish the series. I’ll continue giving it a chance, but it’s been very frustrating up to this point.
I’m officially back to using Chrome. I was using Firefox for months, but I’m giving up for the foreseeable future. The dev tools are incredibly slow and the find-on-page functionality always breaks. I can’t do it anymore.

I absolutely love refactoring code. Types make it even better. I just refactored a huge amount of code. No tests (yet 😬) , but PHP type hints made it almost effortless.
I think I should have timestamps working perfectly now. I’m very excited about this side project!
Alright, I’m going to test publishing for the first time. Will my CMS update my website successfully?
Time to go to sleep. I’ve been working on this side project for too long today. Making great progress, though! I’m very excited.
